Post by s***@gmail.comMy wife is going for her H4 visa appointment on 20th November. At the
Mumbai Consulate in India.
Does she need to carry the original of my I-797 approval notice and
original of I-129 notice when she goes for her apointment?
OR
Is a copy of these documents sufficient?
I would apppreciate a response.
Thank you,
Sujay
Sujay,
It appears that your wife does not need the original I-797 and I-129.
To avoid a re-appointment, I suggest that you send them, nevertheless.
Below are the links to the US Embassy in Mumbai. The page links should
give you a comprehensive and authoritative view of what she needs to
bring to the interview. You can also call or email the Embassy if you
still have any questions. Good luck!
